Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much do sessions cost?

A: The session fees differ by each therapist. Click on each therapists' bio box above to find their specific rates. Our standard starting rate for a 60 minute session is $120, with rates up to $200 depending on the clinician. We do offer some sliding scale spots on a limited basis. We do have an intern seeing clients at $70/hour.

Q: How long will I need to be in therapy to see results?

A: A minimum of 5-8 sessions for more brief, solution-focused therapy. For therapy focusing on longer-term goals or trauma processing, the duration varies from person to person, commonly ranging from 15-20 sessions up to 12+ months, depending on the clients' unique history, current symptoms, hopes and goals. A large portion of clients prefer to come without a timeline attached and just wish to be in therapy for as long as it feels helpful and healing.

Q: I noticed a lot of your therapists are listed as private pay and not accepting insurance. What does this mean?

A: Private pay means payment for the full session fee is processed to the client's personal payment method (credit or debit) at time of service. Out of network means we are not able to bill your insurance directly from our end of things. Our billing department can give clients a receipt for sessions on a monthly basis so that they may inquire with their insurance company directly about out of network reimbursement. We are unable to access or provide information about your insurance companies' out of network benefits.

Q: Do any of your therapists take insurance?

A: Several of our clinicians are in network with commercial UHC/UMR and Humana insurance plans.

Q: Do you provide clients with a Good Faith Estimate as indicated under the No Surprises Act?

A: Yes, we do. To receive a Good Faith Estimate for services, please contact your therapist directly. All clients have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate as indicated in the No Surprises Act.

Couples and Family sessions are an additional $25 to the therapists' standard rate.

Cancellations occurring less than 24 hours in advance are automatically billed a minimum of $75 cancellation fee
