Psychotherapist-Trauma Informed--fully licensed (LPC/LCSW-2 Openings)

We are accepting applications for part-time to full-time psychotherapist employees. We have two openings for office based clinicians in the state of Louisiana. We are looking for clinicians with a background in servicing LGBTQ+ and Black/African American, Indigenous/First Nations, Latinx, Asian American or Pacific Islander, other people of color and diverse backgrounds. 

Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, social work or other related counseling field required. Applicants must be licensed to practice in Louisiana. EMDR or other evidence-based, somatic & trauma informed training preferred. For example in EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems therapy, or be enthusiastic and ready to pursue an advanced specialty training upon joining the team.

 

Provisionally licensed professionals (PLPC or LMSW) will be considered only if candidate has training background in somatic or trauma informed therapy practices (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, etc)

The ability to provide trauma-informed care is a requirement.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay for clinical and non-clinical services

Benefits: Consultation and support in building up a full-time caseload, flexible schedule, CEU stipend opportunities, free in house CEUs, monthly team case consult meetings, In house referrals; health insurance (once averaging 30 working hours/week for two consecutive months); supportive, empathic, passionate working environment, social media advertising

*We are hiring one of these positions as office based and one as telehealth only*

Responsibilities: Build and maintain a client caseload, provide evidence-based psychotherapy, perform scheduling duties, maintain accurate and up to date psychotherapy notes and files, act in accordance with code of ethics at all times.

Motivated, effective, fully licensed therapists hoping to attain full-time status should expect this process to take approximately 3-6 months. This timeline depends greatly on the therapist. (Please note PLPC and LMSW candidates will not be able to accept insurance and will be private pay only. This affects the speed at which one may build a full time caseload.)

Child Psychotherapist-Trauma Informed Play (Office-Based)

We are accepting applications for a child part-time and/or full-time psychotherapist employee. We are looking for clinicians with a background in servicing LGBTQ+ and Black/African American, Indigenous/First Nations, Latinx, Asian American or Pacific Islander, other people of color and diverse backgrounds.

REQUIRED: Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, social work or other related counseling field required. Applicants must be actively licensed (PLPC LPC LMSW LCSW) to practice in Louisiana. Candidate must be in active supervision with a RPT-S and actively pursuing the RPT credential themselves. Fully licensed preferred, PLPC or LMSW candidates who meet the above requirements will be considered. An ability to communicate effectively with parents of child clients is a requirement. LGBTQ and Racial Justice Allied.
