Mandy Broussard, MSW,
LCSW-BACS

Mandy Broussard (she/hers) is a psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with
nearly 10 years of experience in the social work field. Her approach to healing is a holistic one-
factoring in one’s past life experiences to see how they impact one’s present. Mandy works with
adults and adolescents by meeting them where they are, wherever that may be. Her approach is
to empower the individual to gain awareness of the connections between the mind, body, and
spirit using a number of different modalities. The goal is to help individuals to develop a much
deeper understanding of themselves at all levels, which can often lead to improved self-esteem
and self-awareness. She believes her clients all possess the tools required to heal and grow. Additionally she encourages her clients to sharpen their innate tools and use them in a way that effectively communicates their needs to those around them.

Mandy has experience working with a wide range of clients, focusing on the treatment of
anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, marital conflict, challenging family dynamics,
blended families, trauma, death and dying, and LGBTQIA+ related struggles. Mandy excels in working
with clients in the treatment of disordered eating and how that pertains to self-esteem and body
image.

Originally from Plaquemine, LA, Mandy moved on to college to receive her undergraduate
degree from Nicholls State University in 2008 with a major in psychology. Mandy received her
master’s degree in Social Work at Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Social Work and
has spent the past decade working in a variety of agency settings.

Mandy has a love and passion for South Louisiana culture, including the food, music and people
that make this place so unique. Mandy enjoys cooking, reading, yoga, gardening and spending
time with family and friends.
