Alexis Fabre, LMSW
Alexis Fabre is a Licensed Masters Social Worker with experience in many different areas of mental health, including trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and self-esteem issues. Alexis is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is currently pursuing certification in TF-CBT. Additionally, she is enrolled in training to practice EMDR therapy. She is always looking for ways to continue her education on innovative therapy approaches. Alexis has experience working with sexual assault survivors and has also worked as a psychiatric inpatient therapist. Currently, Alexis is providing in person and telehealth services for adolescents and adults.
Alexis strives to provide a safe space for her clients to feel heard, validated, and accepted. She is allied with the LGBTQIA+ community and culturally diverse populations. She is aware of the hardships that both communities face on a daily basis and makes vigorous effort to continue building upon her knowledge of equity, inclusion, and diversity.
Alexis understands that every individual deserves a therapy approach that is most beneficial to their healing process. She listens to each client’s specific needs and goals and develops a plan on how best to help each individual reach their maximum potential. Alexis believes in the importance of helping each individual feel empowered when making decisions to improve their quality of life.
Alexis is a true Cajun from the small town of Bayou Vista, Louisiana. She received her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science from Nicholls State University and earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. She has been a resident of Broussard, Louisiana for the past five years. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys everything crafty and creative, playing with her two puppies, Scout & Nala, and having game nights with her family and friends. She loves being outdoors whether it’s working in her garden or spending a weekend at her family’s camp on the bayou.
Payment and Availability
Insurance and Payment info: Not in network with any insurances; can offer receipt for services so that clients may inquire about out of network reimbursement with their insurance. Private pay only at this time, payment due at time of service. Limited Sliding Scale spots available.
60 minute sessions: $120.00
50 minute sessions: $115.00
