Kylie Alexander is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing both in-person and virtual therapy services f children ages 10 and older, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her Master of Social Work degree from Louisiana State University.
Before entering private practice, Kylie gained extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, including crisis intervention services. Through this work, she supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, emotional distress, and periods of crisis. These experiences have strengthened her ability to remain grounded, compassionate, and supportive during some of life's most difficult moments. Kylie understands that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and she strives to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood.
Kylie approaches therapy from a strengths-based, person-centered perspective. She believes clients are the experts on their own lives and works collaboratively to help them identify patterns, build on existing strengths, and move toward meaningful change. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Kylie tailors treatment to each individual's unique experiences, goals, and needs.
Drawing from mindfulness practices, creative interventions, and attachment-informed concepts, Kylie helps clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. She has a particular interest in understanding how early relationships and life experiences influence present-day struggles and is passionate about helping clients create healthier patterns and deeper connections. Kylie continues to pursue advanced training and education to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care to those she serves.
Kylie is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment for clients of all backgrounds and identities and is proud to be an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Outside of the office, Kylie enjoys spending time outdoors, attending local festivals, and exploring new places with her husband, children, and dogs.
