Kelcie Landry M.ED., LPC

Kelcie Landry stands by the quote, “Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going,” -Noam Sphancer.

 

Her therapeutic mission is to help individuals build knowledge and tools which allow them to find peace and harmony while improving daily functioning and decision-making. Having grown up in rural South Louisiana, she is also passionate an approach that incorporates equity, acceptance, and access to resources for folks of cultures and populations who have been historically marginalized in western culture. â€‹

Kelcie approaches life from a holistic standpoint, centered on the balance of mental and physical well-being. She uses methods that are person-centered and works in congruence with clients based on individual needs. Kelcie is a fully trained EMDR therapist, trained through EMDRIA Approved Trainers. She utilizes EMDR to empower her clients to heal from past stressful and traumatic experiences, in order to decrease distress in the present and in the future. Kelcie also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and works with adolescents and adults on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity development, trauma and relationship conflict. She has completed Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based therapy for healing trauma-related symptoms and disorders in children and teens ages ages 3-18.

Outside of work, Kelcie enjoys cooking, reading, podcasts, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with loved ones and her family dog, Sparkle.

Kelcie received her undergraduate degree from UL Lafayette in 2012 with a major in Psychology and minor in Anthropology. In 2015, she received her Master’s degree in School Counseling with additional postgraduate counseling hours from Liberty University.

Payment and Availability

Insurance and Payment Info: Accepts UMR/UHC and Humana Commercial Insurance Plans. Outside of accepted insurance, Kelcie accepts private payment for services, with superbills offered for clients who wish to file out of network for possible reimbursement.

​

Sliding Scale: Kelcie has 2 sliding scale spots available on her caseload at a time for those who are in need of more financial flexibility. Sliding scale means you pay an amount, in the range of $90-$130, that works for your financial wellness. 

​

50 minute session $125.00

60 minute session $130.00

90 minute session: $195.00

​
