Colleen Simmons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8+ years of experience in the State of Louisiana. Colleen is passionate about helping her clients work through life's many challenges, while offering an empathetic, non-judgmental ear and helping individuals realize their full potential.
Colleen believes that everyone has the ability to change and become the best version of themselves throughout life. Her therapy style is a mix of cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and collaborative. Colleen has experience working with clients reporting a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self esteem, parenting, postpartum issues, relationship issues, family dynamics, stress, grief, LGBTQIA+ related struggles, HIV/AIDS, cancer, and trauma.
Additionally, she provides therapy that is allied and affirming to those in polyamorous or non-monogamous relationship structures and provides therapy that is sex and kink positive.
Colleen earned her Master of Social work degree from DePaul University in Chicago in 2014 with an undergraduate degree in Political Science/minor in Professional Writing.
Payment and Availability
Insurance and Payment Info: In network UMR and United Healthcare Commercial plans only. Outside of UHC/UMR, Colleen is private pay. For private paying clients, we can offer receipt for services so that clients may inquire about out of network reimbursement with their insurance. Full payment due at time of service for private paying clients

50 minute sessions: $120.00
